With a great deal of passion, a dash of courage and innovative spirit, an idea grew into a company that is now firmly established in the market. |
2023GLW Asia + 100 employeesWith the founding of GLW Asia, GLW create a local service hub for the Asian region. We also celebrate the recruitment of our 100th employee and complete successfully the ISO 9001 certification this year. |

2018Completion of plant 3In the summer GLW complete the construction of the third plant in Kisslegg and move in. GLW have thus created more jobs and can further expand the production site. |

1993Automatic stripping and crimpingThe market require processing equipment for GLW wire end ferrules, which led to the development of devices. The pneumatically operated AC manual pliers is developed first, followed by the MC 40 Stripping and Crimping Machine. |

1991TWIN ferrule is inventedThe invention of the TWIN ferrule makes it possible to accommodate two conductors in a single ferrule and this represents a safe electrical connection component. |
1989GLW worldwideGLW is renamed as a limited liability company (GmbH) and move to a new production hall in order to meet the growing demand and to be able to serve international markets. |

1987Start of the ferrulesProduction of insulated ferrules starts after completion of the first line and the products are sold to domestic customers. |
1986GLW foundationThe company GLW OHG is founded by Klaus Geier, Herbert Leonhardt and Bruno Weiland. The company develope a production line for insulated wire end ferrules and begin the production in a small garage. |
